A Cape Cod native, Lindsay loved animals from a very young age. Growing up with numerous dogs in the house, Lindsay was a “natural” at both caring and understanding each of them. However, it wasn’t until she rescued Hooch, her now 7 year old American Staffordshire Terrier (or as she refers to as “a pittie”), that she was able to fully appreciate her love for dogs, particularly rescue bully breeds.
The day Lindsay saved Hooch, her whole life changed. She became a passionate pit bull advocate and even established a yearly “Paw Wash”; a charity event that raises money for smaller, local pit bull rescues. Lindsay is dedicated to educating people and advocating for Pit Bulls, other bully breeds, and rescue dogs.
In January 2012 she moved to Connecticut in search of a new career. Lindsay and Rhodes Collar each found a”perfect fit.” Lindsay is the head trainer and manager of the Day School for Dogs program.
